Thanks to the UDSA emergency food is being provided through the Summer Food Service Program operating under the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  As a returning sponsor, Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills was positioned to access these resources and have partnered with Moore County Schools to serve lunch and next-day breakfast for children 18 and under daily Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Double meals are provided on Thursdays for Friday.

The meal distribution program has expanded to include 26 sites. Click here to view the expanded list of sites and the times each site is offering meal distribution.
Based on feedback from families as well as community organizations and volunteers, our goal is to serve and impact as many youth as possible during this crisis.
